Franciscan Crown Rosary The original rosary was strung on black chord which had broken. The 10mm Black Onyx bead holes were very small and had to be made larger. In order for the heavy No.36 wire to be use as the eye pins the beads had to be reamed out. I used a bead reamer to enlarge the holes which took about 3 to 15 minuter to ream out per bead.
The chain is Brass Rhodium Plated. The original Crucifix is now fastened with the wire bow.
It usually takes about 90 minutes make a Franciscan Crown Rosary. I forgot to take a picture of the original rosary. Do you by chance have one? |
